The existence of the Trisakti STP Library has been initiated since 1969 to support the Tri Darma of Higher Education activities, namely teaching, research, and community service. The library has undergone several name changes along with the name change of the college itself. The first name used was the Trisakti Hospitality and Tourism Academy Library and became the Trisakti Tourism College Library in 1999. The name that has been attached since 1999 is the Trisakti STP Library.
In 1987, the Trisakti Tourism Academy Library from Campus A Kyai Tapa Grogol then moved to its new campus on the IKPN street, Tanah Kusir, Bintaro. Building A of the new campus of the Trisakti Tourism Academy was honored and was officially opened by the Minister of Tourism, Post and Telecommunications at the time, Mr. Soesilo Soedarman on December 3, 1988. On June 21, 1989, the Trisakti Tourism Academy obtained the "Equated" status based on Minister of Education Decree No: 383 / O / 1989, while Building B of the Trisakti Tourism Academy campus was completed in the construction and the opening was inaugurated by the Minister of Education and Culture, Prof. Dr. Ing. Wardiman Djojonegoro on April 10, 1997. The STP Trisakti Library Building is located on the second floor of Building B on IKPN street, Tanah Kusir, Bintaro. Library Building Size 230 m2.
Since 1996 the Trisakti STP Library has provided an OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) service using the Dos Version Sipisis developed by IPB. In 2010 the system was upgraded using the Windows Version Sipisis software and then in 2016 the Trisakti STP library upgraded the Web Version of the MySipisisPro system, which means that currently the Trisakti STP library, can be accessed online.
